  • Your unique relationship with your coach is about....

    Trust and safety:

ditch the haters and chose to work with someone who gets the struggle, doesn't judge you, and is thrilled to hear all about your dreams and ideas.

    Self-efficacy:

the belief in your own ability to control your behavior, emotions, and motivations. Metacognition is the awareness and understanding of one's own thought processes. Higher levels of self-efficacy and metacognition are directly linked to goal acquisition. Coaches are trained "question-askers." When your coach asks you great questions, it improves your metacognition and self-efficacy. Hearing your own responses when you share them with another, you deepen your own understanding of the issues.

    Architecture and articulation:

you know what you want to feel, and maybe even what you want to do, but you yearn for help putting your goals into context and words. It is powerful to build a relationship with a person who provides that infrastructure for you.
